So,
for the second mission my group chose YouTube. Things were going fine over
reading week we had a plan and deadlines the group was me a Danniella however
due to personal issues Danniella was struggling and as ripple effect so was I.
Then Shane joined the group and I wasn't left to do all the work myself. But
due to the deadline of the presentation there was still a lot of work and it
was stressful the presentation is tomorrow I am still worried, but I feel as
though it’s at a point that we can get a good enough grade that I'll be happy
with. I know this is short and I should have at least another blog post for
this mission, but it was difficult to even get this one out.
In
reflection there is some stuff that we could have improved on. For example, I could
have put the video in a different format to maybe have better quality. We could
have done a bit more research and we could have organized it in a better format
so as to not have us reading straight of the screen. The way we sourced the information
could have been done better. When introducing the presentation, I could have taken
a few moments to collect myself and then introduced the presentation to the
class.
I
have learned a lot from this mission I learned how to use Adobe Premier Pro software
and I learned how to use YouTube studios and how the algorithm works. I learned
that I was doing a lot of things wrong in my presentations and also that the
way that I was referencing in a very bad way and that I should be leaving links
to the websites I used and not just saying where I’m getting the information
from. I also learned how to make a YouTube video. It may not have been perfect,
but it was my first time I had ever made a video, so I was overall happy with
the finale outcome. I got to improve my problem-solving skills along with my
team working skills. If I had to pick one part of this project, I would have
done differently it would have been the presentation layout I wish I could have
chosen a different layout and to just overall make it a better presentation. I
would have had shorter points and I would have made it, so I wasn’t just
reading them straight off of the screen. I do except the fact that if it where
not for Danniella’s circumstance that the project would have had a better flow
as well as having a more coherent feel throughout. I think if a lot of the
circumstances where different then this project would have been better but in
saying that I am happy with the overall result.
